Discover Kaş
The Legacy of Lycia
Although the Teke peninsula has been occupied since the Stone Age, it seems Kaş was founded by the Lycians, and its name in Lycian language was Habesos or Habesa. It was a member of the Lycian League and its importance during this time is confirmed by the presence of one of the richest Lycian necropoleis.
What to do in Kaş?
Despite its growth, this exquisite Turkish coastal town has kept its slowed-paced and alluring charm. The friendly locals take pride in their Turkish hospitality.
Apart from the warm hospitality, Kaş is a shopping delight. The old-world cobbled streets are lined with tiny shops, bars, and restaurants to replenish so you can continue exploring. You can expect gorgeous, tucked-away beaches and ancient archeological sites rich in history.
